The AudioMX 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound Headset is a really great product. I found the Audio to be very immersive with good Virtual surround, I could tell that objects were farther away in one direction than another in games, though this does take a little tweaking on the part of the user. My settings work for me and my hardware, you'll have to experiment with your own of course. I found the Microphone convenient to retract and extend, the control panel works well to turn it on and off as well as adjusting audio levels with the thumb wheel. Most headsets would have a tiny thumb wheel, this one is large and cleverly designed for ease of use, you wont be searching for the control on this unit.  The lighting is not useful in gaming but looks pretty nice. It can be easily turned off easily which I did when I was distracted by the mic LED. I was impressed by the headband design. I don't believe these will break easily, I imagine someone like me who has broken many headsets at the ear to headband area took part in the design. There is adequate but not excessive clamping force so they remain comfortable over long periods. My ears were not crushed inside a shallow earpiece, and they did not push my glasses into my head painfully. I didn't even notice them after awhile, you quickly become immersed in the audio and video aspects of your game and forget their there. They just slip on and off, there is no adjustment needed so I found them easy to put back on after quick dashes for drinks, snacks or bathroom runs while gaming. The microphone worked well on several VOIP applications including Teamspeak 3, Steam, Skype, and the built in one in GTA V. I did have to switch the audio to the higher sampling rate when I was told that the microphone was a but muffled. Without hearing this myself, I cannot be sure what exactly he meant but he was satisfied after I changed the setting. I did listen to the difference within the Windows settings and couldn't tell any difference.  This may just be the different software's not being in sync that caused this in Teamspeak 3. There is no apparent difference in the VOIP in GTA V or Steam that I or my friends could tell.
Overall these are a great value and very well thought out. Their comfortable and sound great...I really don't have any complaints except I think the mic should have at least a little foam cap to stop wind from triggering the microphone, my fan kept setting it off despite settings but it is pretty close and blows pretty hard in my direction, It's Arizona, it gets hot in here with computers running, LOL.
